2026/08/04 Auto layout now arranges branching nodes symmetrically

With Auto layout, branching paths are now arranged symmetrically on either side of the baseline. Branch positions are aligned to a fixed step width from the baseline, so even if the number of levels differs between left and right branches, the merge node and its downstream elements will not deviate from the baseline.
