When you attach a file to the AI Chat, the following messages may appear.
- This format cannot be attached: (File name) (Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, PDF)
- (File name) exceeds the file size limit (10MB)
- Failed to read the attached file
Cause
Files attached to the AI Chat are subject to the following restrictions.
- Supported formats…JPEG / PNG / GIF / WebP / PDF
- File size…Up to 10MB per file
If you select "All Files" in the File Selection dialog, you may be able to select unsupported formats. In that case, the file will not be attached and this message will appear.
Resolution
Please convert the file to a supported format before attaching it. Excel or Word documents can be attached by exporting them as PDF.
For large images, please reduce the resolution or compile them into a PDF before attaching.
