Task Type categorizes the nature of each process step into "Decision, Routine, or Automated." By categorizing them, you can later consider the direction for improvement.
Three Categories and Directions for Improvement
- Decision / Creative…Process steps that require human judgment. Consider organizing knowledge to eliminate over-reliance on specific individuals.
- Routine Work…Process steps that follow fixed procedures. Consider organizing work procedures and exploring outsourcing (BPO).
- Automated Processing…Consider automation using AI and other technologies.
Why Set This in Advance
Task Type is automatically classified by AI based on the content, and can be changed individually afterward. However, since improvement Report aggregations are based on Task Type, setting it in advance will make the results more accurate. For nodes that have not been set, AI will estimate the type, and the fact that it was estimated will be indicated in the process list of the Report.
